A Million Miles

A Million Miles A Million Miles
By Abuzar Mir
Ever found yourself tantalizingly short on miles needed for that sweet ticket you've been waiting to buy? All of us have. It is annoying when you fall just short of the required number of points, so close yet so far.
Fear not we are here to tell you that you can make up that small (or large) deficit in a quick way. How? Buy miles online of course. There are several websites which allow you to do this.
For those among you who might be confused with all this jargon of 'miles' and 'miles needed for a ticket', and might be wondering what is all this about let us explain.
You must have used a credit card sometime in your life - if you're like the average consumer, you might use it all the time - maybe even several times a day. When you use it - according to the specific credit card company you use and their respective policy, you acquire points proportionate to the amount of money you spent on that transaction - the higher the credit amount used, the higher the points you get. In a similar vein, you can get reward points for flying. These points are called airline miles or simply miles. If you are a member of a frequent flyer program - typically is free for the basic membership - you will earn points each time you fly with that particular airline. And just like in the credit card case, the further you fly, the more miles you earn. This strictly depends on which airline you use, remember that not all frequent flyer programs are created equal - some have been loved, others have been infamous for their lack of 'generosity'. No matter which program, at the end of the day, you'll earn airline miles.
And like credit card points, you can use these miles to get certain rewards. What kind of rewards you wonder? Well that depends on how many miles you have. You can exchange them for entire tickets if you have the prerequisite amount of miles in your miles bank. Other ways are to use them to get an upgrade on the ticket and shift from economy to business (for free). Yet another way is to use the points to get good deals on vacations or hotels, and car rentals. You can also sell your miles to earn a little extra cash. However if you're a frequent flyer it's far better to use them to get a ticket or the like. Using a combination of wisdom and opportunity, you can get a lot of mileage out of your miles.
Now that everyone is up to speed, we can continue our initial train of thought. So imagine you're a couple hundred points short from getting that ticket you had been planning to get, you can't fly to accrue those miles of course - that'd just be wasting money. As mentioned previously you can just buy miles from a myriad of online websites to make up the difference.
